Summary: We will not investigate this complaint about the Council’s delay in dealing with reports of fly tipping. The Council has removed the fly tipped material and apologised for the delay. We are satisfied with the Council’s actions on this point.
The complaint
- Mr X complains the Council delayed in dealing with his repeated reported of fly tipped asbestos.

My assessment
- The Council has acknowledged that it failed to act on Mr X’s reports of fly tipped asbestos as soon as it should have. It has removed the fly tipped material. It has apologised to Mr X for the delay. And information on its procedure for reporting fly tipping to the Council and the intended timescales for removal are detailed on its website of fly tipping is detailed on its website.
Final decision
- We will not investigate Mr X’s complaint because we are satisfied with the Councils actions to resolve this complaint.
