Update to LGO delegations

Anne Seex, Local Government Ombudsman, has been on sick leave since late November 2012 and it is unlikely that she will return to work for some time.

We have taken steps to ensure that this does not impact upon the service we provide and have formally transferred her cases to Dr Jane Martin, Local Government Ombudsman and Chair of the Commission for Local Administration. Our delegations have been amended so that all investigators are able to make decisions on behalf of Dr Martin on all local authority and adult social care complaints in England.

The public, local authorities and other stakeholders will not experience any differences in the way the LGO progresses cases and the changes will not impact on the way we work to resolve complaints or the service we provide.
